Artwork Guide & Printing Specs

WHAT WE NEED TO GET YOUR ARTWORK ONTO A SCREEN

Supply your artwork in any of the formats listed below. If you require a multiple colour print we need to be able to seperate the individual colours as each colour requires a separate screen.

Please do note send us any low res images from the internet as they are no good for printing..

ARTWORK FILES:

For multiple colours we prefer that the artwork be in one of the following formats:

  • Illustrator ai.
  • PDF 
  • EPS (layers included)

All fonts need to be outlined.

For one-colour prints we can also use:

  • Bitmap
  • TIFF
  • PNG

The file requirements are min 300dpi and true to print size.

SCREEN PRINTING COLOURS

To screen print the colour as close to what you want, there are two options.

OPTION 1 – PERMASET AQUA WATER-BASED INKS

As we print mostly with Permaset Aqua water-based inks you can choose any of the colours from their range.

OPTION 2 – PANTONE COLOURS

We understand that you might have a very specific colour not listed above. If so you can match your colour to a Pantone Colour. If you don’t have a Pantone colour guide you can view the Solid Coated Pantone Colour Guide online to find the colours you need.

Please note: Screen colours (RGB) and Pantone colours may vary slightly from final print.

How fast will I get my printed items?

Turnaround times

Turnaround times vary depending on the printing method and the quantity of t-shirts or hoodies ordered. Small orders can be completed in a few days, while larger orders may take a couple of weeks.

Our standard production is 2 weeks but it might vary depending on the time of the year. We do recommend booking in the jobs, that way you know when to expect the delivery.
